Venture capitalist, podcaster, former national champion in India, and a professional tennis player.
My early life was mostly about tennis.
Won the nationals, represented India, and played professionally.
Decided to move to the US in 2010 to pursue an undergrad on a tennis scholarship.
I spent ~10 years in the US playing college tennis, studying and working in venture and tech.
Moved back to India in 2019 because I wanted to be part of the India growth story, and since then, I've been helping Indians living abroad to be part of it through the 1947 Rise Fund and 1947 Rise Podcast.
Before starting the 1947 Rise Fund, I led business development and helped AngelList expand into India, ultimately becoming the largest investor in the country.
I also made early-stage investments through GGV Capital as the only scout in India.
